Welcome to the Montevallo family! We are excited to meet you at Orientation! All new UM students must attend an Orientation session in order to register for their classes. We have three goals for your Orientation day:
- To answer all of your questions
- To assist you as you select and register for your classes, and;
- For you to leave excited to return for your first semester at UM!
2025 Spring Semester Orientation
For all new students beginning school in January 2025
All new students who are planning to start school in January 2025 must attend Spring Semester Orientation in order to register for their classes. Our Spring Semester Orientation dates and registration links will be available in October.
2025 Freshman Orientation
For all new freshman students beginning school in August 2025
Freshman Orientation sessions are held in April, June, and July. All new students must attend an Orientation in order to register for their classes. Our 2025 Orientation dates will be available in October, and registration will open in February 2025.
2025 Transfer Orientation
For all new transfer students beginning school in August 2025
